The NBS B.A. Specialization in Technology & Innovation Management (TIM) graduates are prepared to understand and cope with technological and social change while keeping their organizations at the forefront of global leadership. TIM students go through an action- and practice-oriented program designed to hone their ability to manage creative enterprises and create, lead and grow startups.

Graduates from the program have myriad opportunities in diverse fields, including the following:

Multinationals, Startups and Consultancies
Graduates may pursue careers as general or product managers, management analysts or innovation consultants. They are likewise well-trained in the fields marketing, product development, project management and entrepreneurial and venture finance, opening a wide range of career options.
Research Institutes, Government Agencies and International Organizations
With their strong background in innovation management and entrepreneurship, TIM graduates can apply their interdisciplinary knowledge in research and policy making to improve innovation ecosystems and foster creative industries.
TIM prepares students to work across disciplines and with individuals of diverse backgrounds, giving creative students a leg up on starting their own enterprise. Senior students have several options to put the skills they have acquired to the test:

  • Consulting project for local startup or tech enterprise
  • Research thesis supervised by experienced mentors at one of Narxoz’s research institutes or centers
  • Case study or creative startup project


Students usually declare a minor from outside NBS in the third year of study. At the time of declaration, students can choose from any minor offered. A minor requires a set of required courses for a minimum of 24 credits. Examples of related interdisciplinary minor options available to students include the following:

  • Future Studies and Strategic Foresight
  • Intellectual Property Law
