The educational program “Restaurant and Hotel Business” actively interacts with the hospitality market, involving students from first courses.
On January 16, 2020, on the basis of the “Culinary art center” from the company of advanced equipment for restaurants and hotels, “Ecober” an interesting master class “Modern technologies in professional kitchen” was held. The master class was held by the famous restaurateur Andrey Mokich, who is also the brand chef of the “Culinary art center”, in Almaty.
During the event, this company made a request to attract students of the Narxoz specialty “Restaurant and Hotel Business” , as it was our students who liked them on the basis of previous work. Maria, the manager of this company, noted such qualities of our students as curiosity, the guys asked a lot of questions, which showed how much they are interested in the chosen profession, responsibility, initiative, desire to learn new things and come in contact with interesting personalities, practices that, by their example, show how to be realized in the profession, how to achieve your goals and just enjoy your favorite things.
The event was attended by 2nd year students of the Restaurant and Hotel Business specialty, as well as teachers of the department who received certificates and a lot of positive impressions. These events will be held on an ongoing basis.
