Dr. Brian E. McConnell, RPA, is Professor of Art History & Classical Archaeology at Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton, FL, USA).  Educated in the United States and formed professionally in Italy in the area of cultural resource management, he has published a variety of books and articles that range from archaeological field reports and studies in the realm of ancient Greek architecture to indigenous iconography and stories and images from the historical Grand Tour.  He is a veteran leader of study abroad programs that focus on experiential learning through fieldwork and full-sense perception and his teaching in Florida Atlantic’s MFA program extends to interdisciplinary subjects, such as Art & Sound.
